The US introduced the first M16 rifles in 1963 during the war in Vietnam. It became the standard issue by 1969 replacing the M14 battle rifle among the infantry units fighting in South East Asia. The weapon chambers a 5.56 x 45mm cartridge and continues to serve the US military in the model M16A3 as well as other variation to this day. The Javelin M16A3 airsoft rifle replicates this modern M16 with every detail imaginable. The metal body, sturdy ABS stock, grips and pistol grip make this one solid AEG that can take a substantial amount of abuse and continue to deliver the results you expect. This model represents the more modern M16 with the removable carry handle and a flat top receiver to easily add your choice of optics. It also features a laser etched logo on the receiver, adjustable front and rear sights, and superior internal components that give this airsoft rifle considerable value.

Note: Although this fully automatic airsoft rifle comes with a standard wall charger to charge the battery, Stuart Uniform recommends the use of a smart charger to avoid overcharging the battery (overcharged batteries will likely cause decreased airsoft gun performance and may shorten battery life significantly). Smart chargers not only shorten charge time significantly (up to 800% faster charging), but more importantly they automatically shut off once the battery is fully charged to avoid overcharged batteries.
